get your house ready for christmas!

Dignified snowman with a Christmas tree.
Two nutcrackers in glass.
Wooden deer sculpture on a stool.
Christmas balls in a glass with a few candles.

the first steps to a succesful christmas!

Think, for example, of a grouping of decorative wooden and glass trees with the addition of some sprigs of Christmas greenery and - for an even cosier effect - lights. Perfect for a mantelpiece or cabinet! Cloches and lanterns are also great elements that can be filled to the brim with Christmas balls and ornaments. Add a series of Christmas figures, candlesticks, and reindeer so that the whole surface is richly filled. Traditional Christmas stockings should, of course, not be missing and provide a good dose of traditional Christmas vibes.

Are you a real star in fretwork? Then get to work with wood! Take, for example, a large MDF sheet from which you saw the contours of a Christmas tree. Attach a string of lights zigzagging on the wood and use screws or nails to attach Christmas balls, ornaments, and hangers in the desired colour to the wood. Your own DIY tree is ready to steal the show in no time. An added bonus is that this alternative Christmas tree can be reused every year.

the perfect picture

A series of photo frames with atmospheric images, old photos, and texts can form the contours of a Christmas tree on the wall or a wallpapered board as a whole. Don't feel like using so many nails in your wall? Opt for an image of a Christmas tree or atmospheric nutcracker on a large wall hanging. These are elements that bring a huge dose of Christmas into your home all at once.

think out of the box!

Do you want to go for a tougher version? Then choose a ladder that stands loose in the space, in which you can incorporate lights, garlands, and ornaments. The Christmas gifts can also be a nice addition by involving them on every rung in the atmospheric whole. A ladder is also enormously decorative on the wall both horizontally and vertically. After Christmas, you have a nice eye-catcher in your home every season that can be decorated again and again with matching home decorations in a certain theme.

In addition to the standard Christmas trees, you can also use bare branches for decoration. In a beautiful large vase on the table, or hanging on the wall or ceiling, these are perfect blank canvases that can be decorated as colourfully as you want. Choose Christmas balls and garlands in a certain style, or mix different colours together for a surprising and cheerful effect. Finally, add the lights so that this creation can shine in your home too.

hello winter wonderland!

In winter, every garden can use a healthy dose of coziness. This Christmas, step away from standard decorations and traditions and create your own winter wonderland in the garden. Lights always bring a lot of atmosphere, think of garden lighting that is stretched from fence to fence so that the garden can catch a little light everywhere. Attach a decorative rod with clamps to the garden table and hang a series of Christmas balls and Christmas pendants on it. Drape some Christmas greenery on the table and place a series of candlesticks together for an atmospheric whole. Going all in? Then invite your friends and family to spend Christmas outside. Add decorative cushions and blankets for warmth, place a generous amount of lanterns spread throughout the garden, and light the fire in the fire pit. Cover the garden table with atmospheric Christmas textiles, beautiful wine and drinking glasses. With matching Christmas crockery, the picture is more than complete and everyone can enjoy themselves.
